We’re getting ready for another awesome season of North Platte Legion Baseball, and player sign-ups will open this Spring. Mark your calendars and check back soon so you don’t miss your chance to hit the field with us.

North Platte Legion Baseball welcomes young athletes who meet the following criteria:

Residency: Players must reside within Lincoln County, Nebraska or obtain an approved waiver. This includes players who attend high school in North Platte or reside in surrounding communities within the county.

Amateur Status: Participants must not receive payment for playing baseball.

Age Divisions:

Senior Legion (19U): Players who are 19 years old or younger as of January 1 of the current year.

Junior Legion (17U): Players who are 17 years old or younger as of January 1 of the current year.

School Enrollment: Players must be enrolled in high school or have recently graduated, depending on the division.

Required Documentation: A completed registration form, proof of age (such as a birth certificate), and any necessary transfer forms.

Registration for the upcoming season typically opens in the spring. Please check back on our website during that time for updates and to access the registration form.
Participants will need to submit the following:

Player Registration Form: Available on our website during the registration period.

Proof of Age: A copy of the player's birth certificate.

Transfer Forms: If applicable, for players coming from another team or area.

Code of Conduct Agreement: Signed by both the player and a parent or guardian.

Coaches and team managers are required to complete specific training and certification processes, including background checks and child safety training, as mandated by the Nebraska American Legion Baseball program.
